All My Results as of June 18th and Future Events!!
My first Triathlon was the Conway Kids Triathlon on August 12th, 2006. I finished 9th in my age group. After it was over, I asked my Dad “When is my next one”? Since then, I have done 10 other events, including 3 - 5K’s! The first picture below is me after the event with Craig O’Neal!
My second event was the Memphis Thunder Racing Tri for Cory on September 20th 2006. I finished 3rd in my age division.
My third event was the Kids Tri at the J in Dallas on October 22nd, 2006. It was very cold (45 degrees) and I learned not to do any triathlons when its cold!
My fourth event was Craig O’Neal’s Jingle Bell run on December 2nd, 2006. I finished with a time of 36:37.
My fifth event was the Chili Du – Duathlon in Round Rock, Texas on February 11th 2007. I finished 3rd in my age division.
My sixth event was the Little Rock Marathon 5K on March 4th, 2007. It was COLD, a chiling 35 degrees when we started. I achieved my personal best 5K time of 30:31. This is a picture of me before the race with Governor Mike Beebe!
My seventh event was the Play Tri Kids Duathlon (run ½ mile, bike 3 miles, run ½ mile) on April 22 in Dallas, TX. This was one of my favorite events. There were 51 kids from ages 6 – 11 in my age group that I was competing against. I got stepped on starting out, and lost one of my shoes. I did the first half mile with only one shoe! When I got to my bike after the first half mile, my Dad helped me to my shoe back on. By then, there were about 30-35 kids already in front of me on their bike. When I came back on my bike, I was the second one back, with another 8 year old was on my tail. For the last 100 yd’s of the last ½ mile, me and the other boy were neck and neck, and I decided to wait until the other boy made his move, and then I ran him down and edged him by 300th of a second! I finished 1st in my age division, and 2nd overall! Below are links to the results.

Thanks Rene’! I updated the schedule. I am glad that they changed it so we can do both! I had promised Lelsey last year that we would be coming back this year!

2 Samuel 22:33-36
It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer: he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory; you stoop down to make me great.

WOW! I had no idea that a child of Kent’s was SO talented.
This is waaay cool. Keep up the training and the hard work. As long as you have integrity and values, you will ALWAYS be a winner, no matter what. You are one heck of a cool, little dude. Most impressive. Hey, keep your Dad in shape. Looks like you are doing a good job at that. Swim, run and ride on…. Natalie T.
