Training
Training is very important if you want to do well at Triathlons! Below is a document my Dad created based on the information written by 2008 Olympian Laura Bennett found on the USAT website that I use to train for my events. It is designed for 11-12 year-olds, so you can adjust it to fit your needs.
The main focus on training is to have FUN! Try to mix up training by doing different activities, especially running. Freeze tag is a lot of fun! Try to find a friend or two to go run with, along with an adult!
A great resource for additional training is a good friend of mine from Brisbane, Australia! His name is Tony Baker, and he has been helping Logan with a training program suited specifically for him. Tony’s website is FutureSportz and I highly recommend if you are interested in taking the next step, to visit his website. Here’s a picture of Tony with a few of his triathletes in Australia. If you look closely, he is wearing Logan’s shirt!
Also, if you are interested in Kid Triathlon Camps, IconOne Multisport has a great summer camp.
Here are a few other links that I have also found useful for training.

Also, here are a few good sites to search for Kid and Adult Triathlon’s:

Good Luck!!
